During an external audit at Kuraray’s Frankfurt polymerization plant, the sustainable origin of raw materials, their traceability and environmental stewardship along the entire supply chain were reviewed. The recertification confirms that Kuraray’s Frankfurt plant meets the ISCC criteria for sustainable, bio-circular, and circular raw materials, supporting the use of waste and residue streams and contributing to a circular economy.

ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) is a globally recognized certification system for sustainable and traceable supply chains. ISCC PLUS certificates must be renewed annually. Kuraray’s Frankfurt plant was first certified in October 2024.
